Edition 3: Play

Introducing Buongiorno Edition 3: Play

Never two without three: Buongiorno is back with a playful theme and a myriad of joyful submissions directly from our readers.

We’ve loved this newspaper format so much we decided it was time to fill it with posters to relive our teenage dreams of taking the middle pages out of our most favorite publications and covering every single inch of our bedroom walls with them. Apparently, the new trend is to avoid the bedroom (a too childish look) and keep those for the bathroom (it gives a certain edge, inferring you are creative in less expected places).

In the past months, all we have been craving was lightheartedness, the necessity of play, doing things that made us feel joyful and light, and forgetting about time, just like when we used to play hide-and-seek for hours when we were kids.

We’ve been obsessed with the concept of play since we started to think about the idea of creating a printed magazine.

Play” was behind the idea of Buongiorno when we couldn’t find words to formalize why we wanted to do this and what would be the topics we would cover.

In this edition, we explore how playtime varies from one person to another, but the electric sensations left behind are the same. We’ll send each ourselves messages through tales and vividly remember dreams; we’ll find a new playmate into our body and learn how to awake our mojo. We’ll collect objects as amulets to remind ourselves of past adventures, we’ll learn how the shape of a letter can be playful and that becoming a poet is not so hard after all.

All this and more in our new edition of Buongiorno! Click here to get your copy.
